An Introduction to Mindfulness
Science suggests that mindfulness meditation can lower blood pressure, mitigate depression and anxiety, boost our immune system, and increase positive emotions. This session will introduce you to mindfulness meditation, the four foundations of mindfulness, and a practice session for direct experience. Participants will need a quiet space and a comfortable chair, space to lie down, or meditation cushion. A warm blanket is encouraged if needed.
