Baked Citrus Tilapia

  • 1 lb fresh tilapia fillets
  • 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbs lime zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 Thai red pepper optional if you like it spicy
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, orange juice,
    chili sauce and salt and pepper
  • Place tilapia fillets in the dish, turning to coat well with marinade
  • With the oven at 400 degrees F, bake for 10 to 12 minutes or
    until the fish flakes easily with a fork


You can use other mild, white fish in place of tilapia, such as cod.
