Instructions
  1. Bring the broth to a simmer in a large skillet
  2. As soon as the broth begins to simmer, place the asparagus in the pan
  3. Lay the salmon fillets on top of the asparagus and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper
  4. Cover and let simmer for about 8 minutes, until liquid has almost completely evaporated
  5. While the dish is simmering, stir together the remaining ingredients
  6. Remove skillet from heat, spoon the blackberry mixture onto the salmon
  7. Place skillet about 6 inches under the broiler for 2 minutes, or until the blackberry glaze starts to bubble
  8. Serve immediately
